For me, the classics are insuperables, so my lifetime favs are Dragon Ball and Naruto, for impact on general pop culture and other particular things, like childhood memories, etc.

Saying this, about the new generation animes, my top5 is:
1. Shingeki no Kyojin
2. Boku no Hero Academia
3. Kimetsu no Yaiba
4. Tokyo Ghoul
5. Akudama Drive

Recently I found out about Afterlost through their yearly Battle Cats collab. Premise is pretty interesting, but there seems to be almost zero discussion on the english-speaking internet that relates to the actual show itself.


The premise is pretty much a city disappears, leaving only one survivor named Yuki. After Yuki meets up with a delivery man named Takuya, the two receive a transmission from Yuki's dad, which prompts them to try and find the missing city.
