My personal opinion on life-ruining is it depends on doxing and anonymity.

The first thing you need is a target work-up. You need their dox, you need their family contacts and you need their employer contacts. Once you have a good ol' list of email addresses then you make a website to target your victim and those they love or employ them.

See how quickly their life comes tumbling down. So many employers are unkind and fold like a cheap pack of cards if their reputations are on the line.
