U4GM Forza Horizon 6: New Goals for Better Progression

Forza Horizon 6 is moving into another active stage of its content schedule, with Drift Attack now available and the British Automotive celebration set to begin on September 10. The combination gives players new ways to approach driving, from score-focused drifting to collecting and tuning British cars. With more vehicles and activities competing for attention, Forza Horizon 6 Credits remain useful for players planning upgrades, purchases, and specialized builds across their garages.
Drift Attack is the newest major gameplay addition. The permanent activity is located at Shimanoyama Circuit and allows players to enter directly from the open world through a dedicated gantry. Unlike a standard race, the objective is to build drift scores rather than simply complete laps as quickly as possible. The activity also supports solo play, Convoys, and interaction with other players in the Shared World.
The scoring system makes precision especially important. Clipping Zones are placed around the circuit and can increase the points earned when a drift is maintained within the designated areas. This means that a powerful car alone is not enough to produce a strong result. Drivers need to combine speed, angle, throttle control, and positioning.
For newer drift players, controlled practice is more useful than immediately chasing the highest possible score. A good starting point is to learn the entry speed for each section and then gradually increase the drift angle. Once the car can remain stable through a corner, attention can shift toward hitting Clipping Zones more consistently.
Throttle control can make a significant difference. Too much power can force the rear tires beyond a manageable angle, while lifting too aggressively can end a drift prematurely. Smooth throttle adjustments allow the driver to make smaller corrections and maintain momentum through longer sections.
The choice of car also matters. A high-powered rear-wheel-drive vehicle can be entertaining, but excessive power can make learning more difficult. A balanced setup with predictable responses can be easier to control and may produce more consistent scores than an extreme build.
Drift Attack also has a clear progression connection. The activity requires the Yellow Wristband and is integrated into the Horizon Festival Campaign. Completing the relevant progression can unlock the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition, which has been specially customized for drifting. A standard 1990 Jaguar XJ-S is also being added to the Autoshow.
The current Festival Playlist provides another reason to maintain several different vehicles. The Horizon Mascot Party's Spring season runs through September 10, with rewards including the 1989 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R and 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock. These cars also demonstrate why different performance characteristics can be valuable: the Starion is a compact rear-wheel-drive performance car, while the Dart is built around a much larger V8 and a very different driving character.
British Automotive is the next major theme. Starting September 10, the Horizon Festival will feature a British Automotive Takeover at the dealership, three British cars new to Horizon through the Festival Playlist, and four additional new-to-Horizon cars for Car Pass owners.
This upcoming content is particularly useful for collectors who prefer to organize their garages around different automotive themes. British classics can be kept close to their original character, while modern performance cars can be developed into more aggressive road-racing builds. Keeping several approaches available makes the Festival Playlist less restrictive when different vehicle requirements appear.
The wider game also encourages experimentation. Forza Horizon 6 currently features more than 550 real-world cars, while its Japanese open world combines urban roads, mountain routes, and other varied environments. A vehicle that feels excellent on a fast road can behave very differently on narrow mountain sections, so testing a build in multiple locations is worthwhile.
EventLab and CoLab provide another outlet for this experimentation. Players can create custom events and share them with the community, making it possible to test cars outside conventional race structures. This can be especially useful for unusual builds that are designed around a particular handling style rather than a standard performance target.
Resource management also becomes more important as the garage grows. Rather than upgrading every vehicle immediately, it can be more efficient to assign specific roles. One car can focus on road racing, another on drifting, and others can remain available for dirt events, themed challenges, or collection goals.
U4GM can be considered as an optional resource marketplace for players looking for additional flexibility with their Forza Horizon 6 progression. Its affordable options and focus on secure transactions may appeal to players who prefer another way to manage their resources, while driving practice and tuning knowledge remain the foundation of meaningful progression.
With Drift Attack now established as a permanent Shared World activity and British Automotive arriving soon, the current Forza Horizon 6 schedule offers plenty of reasons to continue refining different builds. Players seeking an additional progression option can consider Forza Horizon 6 Super Wheelspins, while the strongest long-term advantage still comes from understanding each car, improving driving technique, and adapting builds to the challenges ahead.
